This session is for those who want to engage youth and adults in learning about natural resources. Whether at an event, in the field, with a classroom, or on a tour, this session is for you. We will focus on key fundamentals of environmental education as well as tools, tips and techniques for "hands-on, minds-on" learning.

Participants will:

• Recognize your agency's role in environmental education (EE)

• Identify ways natural resources agencies engage in EE

• List challenges and develop strategies for conducting EE learning experiences

• Engage in EE hands-on activities and strategies

• Review EE resources

• Explore tips, techniques and tools of the trade.
