The course includes a wide variety of tools and techniques to help you set a group up for success and keep it on track. Identify key roles and how to use them to manage your meeting. Learn to build effective agendas. Practice facilitation techniques. You will learn ways to increase group participation and follow-through, drive better decisions, and achieve objectives. This session is a 'must' if you plan to take advanced facilitation training or frequently find yourself managing tough internal meetings, public meetings, conference calls, and other group activities.

This session rips the cover off a project or meeting and let's participants examine what made it successful. The session uses a workbook that is full of 'behind the scene' glimpses that the Cispus staff uses to manage meetings and solve tough meeting management issues. It also includes a variety of proven tools and techniques that you can adopt and use when you return home. The session is highly interactive utilizing small group practice sessions, facilitator presentations, large group sessions, and more. The session is designed to step through the anatomy of a meeting addressing what needs to occur before, during, and after every meeting.
