Kim Stafford Each year the workshop presents a special program that explores non-traditional ways to communicate about landscapes and people. In the March 2010 session we will have Kim Stafford to lead his audience on an exploration of the landscape and its people through a mix of writing, storytelling, a bit of cowboy poetry, humor, and song. This is one of the highlights of the Cispus Workshop. This entertaining and thought-provoking session is not to be missed!

A noted teacher and author of poetry, fiction, and essays, Stafford also serves as Director of the Northwest Writing Institute at Lewis and Clark College, in Portland, Oregon. In 1986, Stafford received a Citation for Excellence from the Western States Book Award and a Pacific Northwest Booksellers Award for "Having Everything Right: Essays of Place."
