| Complementary skills, like Visuals, are short evening sessions that expand your knowledge and appreciation of communication principles, skills, and approaches. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all of these fun and informative evening sessions! |
 The objective of the class is to provide the tools for choosing, designing, and delivering effective visuals to support your communication goals and needs for your audience. This evening session aims to help the participants understand the importance of visual concepts for your content and audience type, while tailoring your message with the different media types available. What works in one setting is not always going to be effective across the board.
The Visuals session is especially applicable for those in the Collaborative Public Involvement and Effective Meetings Management Tracks, as well as those signed up for Effective Briefings; but the course provides simple strategies for everyone attending the workshop. Handy pocket guide included. |
