Mike Feiger, Wildlife BiologistMike is the District Wildlife Biologist for the Idaho City Ranger District, Boise National Forest.  In addition to the daily duties of being a wildlife biologist, he also works as a team leader and planner for watershed assessments and environmental analyses. Mike works with a variety of publics and conservation organizations through partnerships and cooperative habitat enhancement projects. He frequently provides presentations to those organizations in formal and informal settings. And he is also facilitating the Forest Leadership Team for the Boise National Forest.

Mike’s passions outside work include being waist deep in a duck marsh at sunrise and trout streams anytime of the day; the pursuit of Pacific Northwest steelhead with hand-tied classic steelhead flies; up high in the back country of Idaho's Rocky Mountains in pursuit of mule deer and elk; backpacking in the Sawtooth Wilderness; and chasing his Pointing Griffonne’s over hill and dale in pursuit of things feathered.

Mike joined the Cispus Staff in 2005, and 2004 Alum of the Cispus workshop. Mike is looking forward to working with and learning from others including the Cispus Workshop participants.
