Bureau of Land Management |
Erin works for the Bureau of Land Management in southeast Oregon as a Noxious Weed Specialist. She has worked in and out of the natural resource field for 25 years for various agencies, doing various things including park planning, outhouse cleaning, firefighting, botanizing, spying on cows, grounds keeping, environmental education, and weed killing. Erin joined the Cispus staff in 2001. “Each year I learn some new tip or skill that I can bring back to work and use immediately. Each year is a fresh new experience and a tremendous opportunity for personal growth.” In her spare time Erin enjoys camping, hiking, rock climbing, botanizing, reading, soaking in a long hot bath, cooking, sewing, roller skating, gardening and exploring the great outdoors. |
