Briefing materials for IAC meeting - March 8, 2006
Intergovernmental Advisory Committee (IAC) Members:
Attached is some information for you to read prior to the IAC meeting on Wednesday, March 8th. The first two attachments are the "prework materials" in different computer formats. These documents include the agenda, and background materials on the discussion topics. The third attachment ("AM Framework") is being forward on behalf of the Adaptive Management/Monitoring workgroup. It includes a paper describing the proposed adaptive management framework mentioned at the last IAC meeting.
The meeting will be from 8:30 - 3:30 at the Red Lion Hotel near the Convention Center. This is the first time that we have used this hotel for a meeting. It is conveniently located, reasonably priced, close to town, with a restaurant on site. (More logistical details are included in the attachment below.) We hope that this location works well.The agenda is a very interesting one including presentations by Nolan Colegrove from the Hoopa Tribe and David Morman from the Oregon Department of Forestry.
