Implementation Monitoring

The Implementation Monitoring program documents compliance of activities with Northwest Forest Plan direction to answer the basic question:

• Are projects and activities in the Northwest Forest Plan being implemented consistently and in compliance with the Record of Decision for the Plan and its corresponding standards and guidelines.

Implementation monitoring uses standardized questionnaires administered by Provincial Implementation Monitoring Teams to monitor randomly selected projects related to timber harvest, prescribed fire, grazing, mining, recreation, watershed restoration and road decommissioning.
