NATIONAL FOREST IMPLEMENTATION
MONITORING AND EVALUATION REPORTS

The National Forest Management Act and common sense require each National Forest to develop a monitoring and evaluation report periodically. These reports assess the effects of activities on resources within the areas administered by each Forest supervisor to contribute to determining whether or not a plan needs to be changed. Although many of these reports contain information that is similar to that reported as "Northwest Forest Plan" monitoring, the reports focus on a different scale, the National Forest instead of the entire Forest Plan area.
