Biographical Information about Daniel Sarr
Daniel Sarr is the Inventory and Monitoring Coordinator for the National Park Service’s Klamath Network, is a conservation biologist with professional background in wetland ecology and restoration and biodiversity assessment.
He holds an M.A in Aquatic and Population Biology from University of California, Santa Barbara and a PhD in Forest Science from Oregon State University. His research interests include the ecology and restoration of riparian ecosystems, the multiscale factors regulating species diversity, biogeography, and ecological monitoring.
Prior to taking his current position, Daniel worked as an ecologist for the Inyo National Forest, the Colorado Natural Heritage Program, and The Nature Conservancy. In his spare time, Daniel can be seen hitting the trails of the Klamath Region with wife Jocelyn, son Liam, and best friend Flip.
