Packaging Data Files

Listed below are the process and data files for preparing your ZIP file to be transmitted back to REO for processing into the Pacific Northwest coverage.

ZIP TOOLS:

Zip the files needed to upload using TAR or Winzip software.

FILES TO ZIP:

Zip the entire IRDA directory, including: .apr, the Irda.mdb, and the .dbf, .shp and .shx files associated with each shapefile. If you have more than one IRDA directory include these directories in the .ZIP file also.

ZIP FILE NAMING:

Name the .ZIP file with the 3 digit forest or BLM district designation.

example:

irda_gip.zip - 2003 IRDA data for the Gifford Pinchot National Forest
irda_eug.zip - 2003 IRDA data for the Eugene BLM district.
